Bucket Truck Rentals Help Utility Companies Address Leaning Poles

To prevent such headaches, many utility companies employ bucket truck rentals to promptly service a leaning pole. Basically, these trucks have telescopic arms and a bucket-like platform that safely carries workers several feet into the air so they can conduct necessary repairs or adjustments.

Furthermore, a bucket truck rental company like Utility Fleet allows a telephone or electrical company to save considerable money, since rentals are much cheaper than procuring a new, or even used, vehicle. Renting a truck is also useful when all existing bucket trucks are deployed and utility companies temporarily need additional units for service calls.

Bucket Truck Fittings and Other Tools of the Trade

Given that they’re sought after to perform a variety of functions, bucket trucks are usually equipped with various accessories and fittings needed for specific jobs. Whether a bucket truck is bought or rented, operators should see to it that their trucks contain some of the most vital accessories. A number of these, like extension ladders, are especially designed for emergencies.

Considerations When Renting a Bucket Truck

A bucket truck is not a vehicle you will typically see roaming the streets. This vehicle has an aerial lift that can carry a person or two to a certain height. If you own a business that involves fixing or installing objects at high altitudes, consider having a bucket truck. However, weigh between buying and renting one based on the scale of work needed.
